1 · Invite
Pick a task from the catalog, choose a day, invite someone. They say yes or no. Nothing is ordered.
Whoever joins in can propose agreements, say yes and take care of them. The others see your name.
The water shows what you give each other: thanks and relief make it rise. After 3 days of standing still it sinks, turns murky, and piranhas come. With an alarm this happens at once.
A proposal is an invitation. Whoever is named can say yes or decline.
How will we know it is good? Whoever says yes agrees to this too.
For things nobody agreed on. You tell the group, and everyone else confirms. It then counts half. Nothing happens in secret.
Agreements that come back in turn, for example “Clean the kitchen, every two weeks”. Everyone in the rotation has to say yes. Whoever is up can swap the round: others can take it over.
A space is a team, a household or just you. Every space has its own agreements, calendar, shopping lists and people. Switch between your spaces here.
You become its admin. Invite others with a link, or keep the space just for yourself.
All agreements on their date. Tap a day to see what is coming up, and add something.
rotates
A to-do list that never keeps score. It simply shows who carries what, and makes it easy to support each other.
Pick a task from the catalog, choose a day, invite someone. They say yes or no. Nothing is ordered.
Tap Done. That is all there is: done, not done, moved. No points.
Send a thank-you or a heart. It lands as a bubble, and the water at the bottom rises.
Move a task or leave it undone: three flies buzz around it and it hangs crooked. The second time it pulses red. Everyone sees it.
Tap a fly: done, ask for help, hand over, let go, or move it with one small first step. Then the flies leave.
Thanks and relief raise it, and a thank-you note floats in it. Three quiet days and it sinks, turns murky, and piranhas appear. A red alarm turns it red.
It glows over your own card on the “Care” page: thank you for carrying what you can. No ranking. There you can also lighten someone's load or thank them.
Small signs: ⇄ passes from person to person · a bubble on a tile is a question for you · far-away tasks wait small and blurry in the back. Admins can switch on points; there is never a ranking.
Four studies on how appreciation and care shape close relationships.
People who care for a partner’s needs without keeping score feel good while they give. In a 14-day diary study of 69 couples, those with a strong caring motivation felt more positive emotion during everyday sacrifices, more appreciated by their partner, and more satisfied with the relationship that day. Feeling authentic while giving explained the effect.
Why it fits Taking something off someone’s plate asks for nothing back, and the giving can feel good in itself.
Read the study (opens in a new tab)In a national US survey of 1,365 married couples, small acts of kindness, signs of respect and affection, and forgiveness went along with higher marital satisfaction, less conflict and less thought of divorce. The survey is a snapshot, so the link may run both ways: generous partners may be happier, and happier partners may be more generous.
Why it fits Small gestures count. A short thank-you is one of them.
Read the study (opens in a new tab)When a partner affirms the person we hope to become, we feel closer to that ideal self and do better. In 452 people from 258 couples, more affirmation went with better relationship quality, higher life satisfaction and fewer depressive symptoms, partly because people felt closer to their ideal self. Feeling secure with others, especially having little fear of being left, made affirmation more likely. The data show associations, not causes.
Why it fits Saying what you saw in someone is a way of seeing them as who they want to be.
Read the study (opens in a new tab)Being there when things go well matters too. On days when people felt their partner met good news with active, constructive interest, they felt more like a “we” (90 couples, daily diary). In a follow-up of 169 couples, this sense of being a team helped explain why such responses went with better relationship quality later.
Why it fits Good news deserves an answer as well. A thank-you is one.
Read the study (opens in a new tab)These are short summaries in plain words, not the original abstracts. Most of the studies describe couples and show associations. Each link opens the publisher’s page in a new tab, and some pages show only the abstract unless you have access.
You have admin rights. Everything you do here is known to the group: they get a notice every time. Deleted is deleted, there is no way back. Make a backup first if you are unsure.
This area is for admins only.
Care is the default: no points, no comparisons. Only done, not done and moved count, and it only turns negative when something is put off all the time or left lying. Collective adds points and weighting, but even then there is no ranking.
Downloads everything as a file: agreements, notices, rotations, your own catalogue entries and the members’ details. The page cannot restore such a file yet.
You change level, name, order and area directly in the catalogue, and you can delete any entry there. Here you can restore what was deleted, reset all changes and delete your own tasks.
Whoever is removed loses their part in running agreements. With “Join in” they can join again.
Deletes all agreements, notices, rotations, your own catalogue entries, catalogue estimates and weightings. For the members, display name, symbol, colour, strength and notifications are deleted. The members themselves stay.
Throw in whatever is on your mind or on your note. The Ghost sorts it, you decide.
The Ghost asks Claude through your own account. The first time, your browser asks for permission. It never creates anything without a preview.
The Ghost cannot be reached right now. Reload the page, or choose “See an example” everywhere.
Lists for everything that is missing. Anyone can write things down and tick them off. Whoever goes shopping taps “Take on” below, and it becomes an agreement. Once it is done, the list disappears. The app remembers the items and suggests them next time.
Usual household tasks, each worth one to five hearts. With the starting weights, one heart is one point if you finish on time. The Admins set the values. In the planner the value appears in the invitation: whoever says yes agrees, whoever sees it differently proposes other hearts. In the planner you pick a task, or you tap “Schedule” here.
It then stands in the catalogue for everyone. Your level is a suggestion, an Admin can change it.
The levels are listed at the top of the page. Your level is only a suggestion.
How you appear to the others: name, symbol and colour. You decide all of it.
You have Admin rights. You will find the tools for them at the top under “Admin”.
You are not in yet. You can change your profile as soon as you tap “Join in” in the agreements.
It stands in place of your initial next to your name and on your card under “Care”.
It is the main colour of your circle and glows on the agreements where you carry the main responsibility.
You say it yourself. Nothing is counted during “Pause”.
These wishes are already saved. Nothing is sent until the site runs on its own server.
Name, symbol and colour back to the start. Agreements stay.
This is not about points. You see who is carrying a lot right now, and how you can support one another. Your heart glows only for you, in violet: thank you for carrying what you can.
Everyone sets their own weighting. The average of all decides how each person’s circle is calculated. You can change your values at any time.
The average of everyone is what really counts. Beside it is what your values alone would give.
How it really went: what you got done and what you consciously let go of. Both are fine. No ranking.
Words someone has left for something. No number, just the sentence.
We did not finish these agreements. Whoever wants to can pick them up again.
